Nike's partnership with NBA star Ja Morant continues to flourish, especially as he returns to the court following a 25-game suspension. In celebration of this, Nike is releasing the festive Nike Ja 1 in its Christmas colorway and a classic White Black rendition of the Ja 1, set to drop in January 2024. This new colorway follows up on an official look at the Chinese New Year Ja 1.
The Nike Ja 1 White Black sticks to the tried-and-true design formula, making the Ja 1 a favorite among basketball enthusiasts and sneaker collectors. The upper is constructed with a crisp white mesh, providing a clean and sharp look, complemented by black leather on the mudguard and midfoot. This timeless color scheme extends to the black Ja logo on the tongue and the ripstop portion on the heel, creating a striking contrast. Comfort and performance are key, with a white foam midsole equipped with Nike's responsive Zoom Air cushioning. A white outsole with a unique black scratch pattern finishes off the design.
The Nike Ja 1 White Black will release on December 30, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and gradeschool sizing, the retail price is set at $120 and $92, respectively.
