The Nike Jam Pine Green Releases Holiday 2024

Ahead of the Summer Olympics, Nike was working hard to introduce an all-new sneaker — the Nike Jam — for the newest game sport: Breakdancing. While the sport will no longer be presented at future Olympics, The Swoosh still has plenty of colorways of this breakdancing shoe in the tank. Following up on the release of the Futura collaboration and the clean Black White colorway, Nike seems to be borrowing the aesthetic of the grail-status Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 SB Pine Green with the latest Nike Jam.

Much like the contender for the best sneaker of 2023, this Nike Jam features off-white hues accented by pine green hits. The multi-layered and multi-material upper draws inspiration from retro footwear and features textured leather on its mudguard, toebox overlays, heel overlay, and wavy midfoot panels. Below this sits multiple mesh waves, with a jersey mesh found on the top half of the upper and the bottom half, split by a pine green nylon strip with 3M in its center, coming in a tighter woven mesh. More pine green makes its mark on the midfoot Swoosh, Nike branding on the tongue, and the nylon pull tab on the heel. Down below, the sneaker comes with a cream rubber midsole that contains an easter egg for those who can nail a nasty head spin. The Swoosh on the grey rubber portion near the midfoot of the sole comes upside down, meaning it’ll appear normal when worn by someone hitting freezes and other breakdancing moves. The gum rubber outsole is finishing the look and references to the SB AJ 4.

The Nike Jam Pine Green W will release in Holiday 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
