When we first brought you the news that the Nike Air Ship would be making a comeback in Holiday 2022, it was just the beginning for the long-lost silhouette. Originally worn by Michael Jordan during his rookie season, fans have clamored over a retro release of the Air Ship for over twenty years! Finally in 2020, the Nike Air Ship was re-released much to the appraise of sneakerheads everywhere, even if the drops were very limited.
Fast forward to this year, Jordan Brand is set to bring back the Jordan Air Ship in two “PE” themed iterations, “Game Royal” and “Team Orange.” Shortly thereafter, two more all-new colorways will debut for Spring 2023. These pairs come in “Pine Green” and “University Gold” respectively. Like their Holiday 2022 counterparts, both pairs feature white-based all-leather uppers with traditional colorblocking. The accent color is featured on the Swoosh on the sides, collar, liner, tongue tag, and outsole of each.
The Jordan Air Ship in both Pine Green and University Gold are set to release in Spring 2023. They will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $140. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
