Sneaker brands ranging from New Balance to Reebok highlight the celebration of the Chinese New Year every February. Nike and Kyrie Irving are paying tribute to 2022’s Year of the Tiger with an Eastern-inspired colorway of his latest signature sneaker, the Kyrie Infinity. Primarily covered in white, the sense of the Far East is conveyed through the shades of jade on the mudguard and leather straps tucked under the eyelets. Hits of orange pebbled leather on the top eyelet panel and heel counter help provide some extra pop. An accompanying jade tinted Nike Swoosh rounds out the CNY flair.
The Nike Kyrie Infinity Chinese New Year is available now throughout Greater China. It will launch later in 2022 worldwide at Nike as well as select retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in full-family sizing from men down to toddler. Men’s pairs will retail for $130.
