Drake's foray into the footwear world began with a Jordan deal that eventually morphed into a partnership with Nike Sportswear through his NOCTA label. Multiple models have come from this collaboration, with the latest being the Hot Step 2, which first emerged in Total Orange and has since launched in White, Opti Yellow, and Eggplant. Now, just in time for fall, a new colorway of the model has appeared, this time in a clean Rattan rendition.
The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 Rattan features a monochromatic tan synthetic upper, making it a versatile look perfect for casual and streetwear settings. The synthetic construction is complemented by mesh detailing on the toe box and tongue, allowing for breathability and comfort. The tonal laces blend seamlessly with the upper, while NOCTA branding on the tongue subtly nods to Drake's creative direction. A chrome Swoosh is featured within a mesh window on the midfoot, offering contrast while maintaining the tonal design language. The sneaker is completed with a matching rubber midsole equipped with an exposed Air unit in the heel, providing cushioning and support, and paired with a tonal rubber outsole for traction.
The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 Rattan will release at midnight on October 16, 2024 through NOCTA online. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
