The Philadelphia Phillies aren’t the only MLB team to get their own Nike SB Dunk in 2022. Their National League rivals, the New York Mets are also set to get in on the SB action, with a high-top Dunk of their own. Pairing to their away uniforms, the Nike SB Dunk High “New York Mets” edition comes in a clean grey, royal and orange colorway.
Suede overlays with mesh underlays cover the all-grey upper on this Nike SB Dunk High. Royal Blue accents the collar liner, tongue tag and Swoosh, which is also outlined in orange. Custom inside tongue tags give nods to Citi Field with a number 7 train stop logo on the left, representing Willets Point Blvd. station to either Hudson Yards or Flushing Main St. On the right, a “Home Run” logo is reminiscent of the one shown on the center field screen when a player hits a dinger. All this is finished off by gum rubber outsoles with a pink gum splat on the back of the right shoe.
The Nike SB Dunk High New York Mets is set to release on July 26th 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Nike SB retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price set at $125. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
