After a long offseason and prolonged lockout, Major League Baseball is almost back in full-swing. The Swoosh thankfully will be able to release their upcoming Nike SB “Baseball Pack,” inspired by various MLB teams, while the sport is in play. While the first two colorways come inspired by the east coast Phillies and Mets, the upcoming Nike SB Dunk High “San Francisco Giants” heads west.
Though not directly tied to the MLB, the colorway dressing this SB Dunk High uses the team colors of San Fran. A two-tone mix of cream and white covers the majority of the upper, placed on the various underlays and overlays. Tonal cream laces run up the matching tongue with its black and orange Nike Air tongue tag housing a baseball glove and kayak on the back, nodding to the statue located in the park and the famous practice of grabbing home run balls in McCovey Cove. The Nike Swoosh on the profile comes dressed in a black mesh, outlined by orange embroidery. Rounding out the look is a midsole paired with a black rubber outsole that features a hit of bubblegum pink on the heel.
The Nike SB Dunk High San Francisco Giants is set to release sometime in 2022, most likely through local skate shops across the globe. Coming in mens sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
