Whether it be Nike Sportswear or Nike SB, we’ve seen a massive demand for Nike Dunk silhouettes over the last three or so years. Specifically for Nike SB, The Swoosh will bring out specific colorways that are meant to only release at select Orange Label skate shops, helping these local small businesses in the process. For their latest rendition, Nike SB has dressed the SB Dunk High in a “Sweet Beet” colorway.
Classic Dunk construction is present here with an all-leather upper coming in a two-tone shade. Sweet beet shades land around the mudguard, eyestays, heel overlay, and Nike Swoosh while the base layer seen on the toebox, quarter panel, and collar gets a vast grey makeover. Contrasting both of these shades is a stark white shade found via the tongue and lace set, the former of which hosts an orange/white tongue tag with Nike SB branding in grey/orange. More nods to the Orange Label umbrella come via the insole’s Nike SB logo while the reverse of the tongue tag hosts a phrase reminding you to support your local skate shop. Underfoot, a white Dunk midsole gets paired with a sweet beet rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk High Sweet Beet is set to release on November 6th, 2022 through select Orange Label Nike SB-affiliated skate shops online and in-store. A release through Nike online is set to go down on November 26th, 2022. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
