Back in 2008 Cambridge Massachusetts based, Concepts, teamed up with Nike SB on what might be one of the most prolific Nike series of all time, the Lobster. First arriving in Red, the Concepts x Nike SB collaboration elevated what a shop collaboration could be by leveraging one-of-a-kind packaging and cryptic marketing all in the name of storytelling. Concepts and Nike SB went on to do four more lobster colorways throughout the years ranging from blue to green and the rumor mill is abuzz that an Orange Nike SB Dunk Low Lobster could arrive later this year.
If the Orange colorway follows suit with previous releases, the Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Lobster will feature an orange winterized suede upper with speckled shell-like overlay. Moving on down the shoe, it is expected to have a dark navy midsole and an orange rubber outsole to match the upper. Finishing things off will be the famous picnic sockliner with orange and white checkering. As with all the Lobster SBs, it will come with the claw band accessories and a few different lace options.
The Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Lobster is set to release at Concepts on December 2nd at 11am EST. Prior to the Concepts release there will be a Nike SNKRS Pass on December 1st, 2022, for pickup at Concepts Boston, NYC, & their Miami pop-up. A wider release is scheduled for December 22nd via SNKRS and select Nike SB shops. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $350 for the CNCPTS special release, and $120 for the GR.
