Recent years have seen the hype surrounding Nike SB Dunks skyrocket with releases from the previous decades being some of the most expensive sneakers on the secondary market. Now, modern-day releases are selling out instantly and skate shops can’t keep the sneakers in stock not only for the hype surrounding the model in general but due to the spot-on colorways produced by the SB team. Don’t expect to see the latest SB Dunk revealed to stay on shelves as the silhouette has just appeared in a clean “Court Purple Gum” colorway.
Covered in suede and tumbled leather, the silhouette gets dressed in a two-tone court purple and white makeover throughout its upper. Tumbled leather appears in white on the toebox, quarter panel, and collar while court purple suede takes over the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. Fat rope laces match the white tongue and sockliner, however, the Nike SB branding atop the tongue features an orange Swoosh logo that pops amongst the colorless tag. Along the midfoot sits a Nike Swoosh in court purple suede, running back to a Nike-branded heel tab that continues this same color palette and material. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with gum rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Court Purple Gum is set to release Fall 2023 through select Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly through Nike online. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
