Images have surfaced of a new offering from the skateboarding division of Nike, taking major inspiration from an MLB team's 70s jersey, the Philadelphia Phillies. Part of the upcoming “Bubblegum” Pack, this pair draws inspiration from the classic powder blue Phillies uniform as well as the stick of gum one would get inside a pack of trading cards during that era.
The university blue suede upper is paired with a contrasting team red Nike Swoosh on the sides with white piping. While at first glance this colorway doesn’t appear to resemble bubblegum at all, if you head down to the gum outsole, you will see the pink splat on the bottom of the right heel that was also seen on the recent women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Atmosphere.”
The Nike SB Dunk Low Phillies Bubblegum is set to be released on July 26th 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Nike SB retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizing with a retail price set at $115. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
