Back in 2016, Nike’s subsidiary, Jordan Brand, released a two-pack of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways as a part of the "Yin-Yang" Pack, bringing the Chinese symbol into sneaker form. While it took time for the public and sneakerheads alike to grow a liking for the duo, it seems The Swoosh wants to give this concept another shot, though this time it lands on the coveted Nike SB Dunk Low.
Taking the yin-yang concept literally, both sneakers, while keeping typical Nike SB Dunk features, come in a single tone across the upper, sans the Swoosh, and switch up the material makeup between these two shades. On the black pair, nubuck covers the various panels, laces, sockliner, and insole while the Swoosh comes in a stark white tumbled leather. As for the white pair, the inverse is true as the panels and features throughout come in tumbled leather while the Nike Swoosh on the midfoot comes in black nubuck. The rest of the branding details also provide contrast to the almost-monochromatic look with the Nike logos on the tongue, insole, and heel tab taking on the opposite shade. Both pairs get completed by a white Dunk midsole and gum rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Yin-Yang Pack is set to release in Spring 2023 through select Nike-affiliated skate shops, though an online drop through Nike and boutiques is not out of the picture. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $110.
