In the early 2010s, Stefan Janoski’s signature silhouette with Nike SB took schoolyards and skateparks by storm. Though trends eventually shifted, and the model no longer has the same luster as these early years, Nike reintroduced the model in an updated “OG+” version in 2023. This latest iteration retains the classic shape while incorporating remastered technology to meet the demands of modern skateboarding. Already seen in its OG colorway, Nike SB is gearing up to release a second colorway, the Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ Gorge Green.
This “Gorge Green” colorway features an all-over green suede upper contrasted by black stitching details on the toe box and midfoot panel. The lace set boasts a raw leather finish in green, while the tongue showcases a Stefan Janoski-branded tag. The light blue Swoosh embroidered into the midfoot and the black heel counter provide additional contrasting elements to the bright green upper. A nod to the OG Stefan Janoski silhouette is the inclusion of a cork insole, though a standard foam insole is included in the packaging as well. Underfoot, a white vulcanized rubber midsole and black rubber outsole encapsulate the Zoom Air cushioning for maximum comfort.
The Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ Gorge Green will release on June 10 through Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly through Nike SNKRS. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $95.
