Each June, Nike unveils a fresh collection to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community under the "BETRUE" banner. This year, the classic Terminator will join the collection, joining an assortment that also includes the Air Max 97 and Dunk Low.
The forthcoming Terminator BETRUE boasts a neutral colorway that effortlessly blends tan nubuck and white tumbled leather. Tan nubuck adorns the mudguard, vamp, eyelets, Swoosh, and heel, while the white tumbled leather finds itself on the toebox, midfoot panel, and heel. “BETRUE” branding graces the tongue tag and insole. On the former, text reads, "to BETRUE is to be," leaving a blank line at the end to encourage individual interpretation. The heel is decorated with familiar "NIKE" text in a playful multi-color finish, while a sail midsole and tan outsole round off the design. Each pair will also be encased in special 'BETRUE'-branded packaging.
The Nike Terminator BETRUE will release on June 1, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
