Following the news that the Terminator Low "Georgetown" and "Michigan" are set to return later this year, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Terminator High Boot "Black." Giving the '80s basketball shoe a rugged and ready makeover, if you're a massive fan of the silhouette's vintage looks but you're in the market for something that's a lot more utilitarian, this might just be the shoe for you. Unlike the conventional Terminator High, everything on this Boot variant has been significantly beefed up. Dropping the usual all-leather construction, the upper is now made from a chunky nylon base and is overlaid by fuzzy suede panels throughout. The heel is decked out in hard-wearing ballistic mesh, and in case you haven't noticed them already, the topmost eyelets are toughened up with brushed metal hardware, just like a traditional pair of boots. This pair also comes with two sets of laces, including a thick rope-like set which keeps in line with the robust theme, and all of this sits on top of a fully blacked out midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
To our surprise, the Nike Terminator High Boot Black is set to release sometime in Summer 2023. It will be available in men's sizes via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers with a retail price of $135.
