Nike’s latest Terminator Low is an homage to the colorful world of Japanese vinyl toys. The upcoming release follows the footsteps of the already-revealed Air Max 1 '87 “Sofvi,” another silhouette that pulls from the vibrant industry.
The Nike Terminator Low Sofvi harnesses its inspiration through a beautiful fusion of textures and colors. The model features TPU overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, Swoosh, and heel tab — bringing attention to its glow-in-the-dark details on the Swoosh and "NIKE" heel text. Tumbled leather in a muted cream hue appears on the toebox and midfoot. An energizing green sockliner mirrors the gradient color scheme found on the TPU panels. Underfoot, a sail midsole pairs with a glow-in-the-dark green outsole, creating a cohesive design from top to bottom. Continuing the theme, this pair comes packaged in a custom box mimicking that of Japanese vinyl toys.
The Nike Terminator Low Sofvi (W) will release in August through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
