February, while still being a part of the winter months, brings with it warmth and love through Valentine’s Day. Most sneaker brands choose to dress their most popular silhouettes in shades that convey this heartfelt time of year and it looks like Nike’s plans have leaked more than six months out. According to leaked internal documents, Nike is set to release three pairs of Valentine’s Day kicks with the Nike Dunk Low, Air More Uptempo, and Air Trainer 1 getting covered in shades of pink.
All three pairs are dressed in mixtures of leather, suede, and felt. The Uptempo gets covered in a "Night Maroon" shade across the entire upper with pink hits featured on the toebox, piping of the AIR overlay, and its rubber outsole. For both the Air Trainer 1 and Dunk Low, the pink comes as a secondary accenting shade while the majority of the upper is covered in dark pony/coconut milk and pale ivory/night maroon, respectively. While a nappy suede takes over the mudguard, midfoot, and collar on the Trainer, the Dunk utilizes felt in these areas with soft pink coming courtesy of the branding details, laces, and outsole.
The Nike Valentine’s Day Pack 2023 is slated to release on February 7th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. With retail prices ranging from $120-$170, all three pairs will come in men's sizing.
