With no end to the mesh runner trend, it’s no surprise that Nike continues to produce new variants of its most popular sneaker in this category — the Zoom Vomero 5. Although we just had the launch of the new Vomero 5, a winterized version of the sneaker dubbed the Vomero 5 Roam, we have seen previews of new colorways set for the springtime, including the Alabaster Black, Vivid Purple, and Cool Grey. Now, a color scheme featuring Yankees-esque colors has appeared.
The silhouette is coated in a vast grey and blue void combo and maintains its multi-material and multi-layered upper. Starting at the base, we see an open-spaced mesh in vast grey, covering the entirety of the upper, while synthetic leather in the same hue is found along the toebox, midfoot, and heel. Blue void finds a home on the midfoot TPU panel, the Swoosh sitting above this panel and along the tongue tag and sockliner. Further vast grey hits are located on the TPU heel counter. Underfoot sits a grey, sail, and blue void foam midsole with Zoom Air and Cushlon foam cushioning paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Vast Grey Blue Void will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
