This year marks 30 years of Nobu in NYC, with the high-end Japanese restaurant being one of the premier dining destinations worldwide. To celebrate this birthday, Chris Stamp, who, alongside Nobu Matsuhisa, founded Sushi Club, has crafted an exclusive Air Force 1 Low for Nobu's friends and family.
Nearly identical to the Beverly Hills Sushi Club Air Force 1 (and the standard Air Force 1 Triple White), the pair comes with a premium leather upper. White hues dominate each panel, while a metallic silver hue lands on the AF1-laden lace dubrae. Standard Nike branding includes the woven tongue label and heel tab, while New York Sushi Club’s logo is found along the lateral heel. Inside the tongue tag sits a 30th-anniversary text that celebrates Nobu. Underfoot sits a white-on-white AF1 midsole.
Unfortunately for us, the New York Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low will be exclusive to friends and family of Nobu and Nike. However, the pair was initially supposed to be released as the brand has changed the wording on its social media posts and removed the product page that was up on its site. The site had the AF1 listed for $275, so if there is a shock drop for these, expect to pay this premium price.
