For decades adidas Consortium has been linking up with some of the top retailers, designers, and partners of The Three Stripes in the fashion industry to craft unique and creative renditions of various silhouettes in adidas’ lineup. Helping make a push for the newly conceived Orketro silhouette, adidas has already teamed up with Sean Wotherspoon to bring his vintage aesthetic to the dad shoe-like design, however, adidas Consortium is looking to UK-based retailer Offspring to bring “London Nights” to life on the model.
Much like the weather and architecture typically found in the city of London, grey hues cover the entire model with accenting hits of white and deeper greys seen throughout the model. Mesh, premium suede, and nubuck help add texture to the design with hidden details like the Trefoil monogram on the tongue lining and a stitch line that pays homage to the outline of the Thames River that runs through the center of London. For a major contrast, Offspring added adidas Xeno material to the eyestay and portions of the tongue tag that are dressed in an iridescent 3M finish. More details added by Offspring include the holographic on the heel that switches between adiPRENE and Offspring as well as an adidas Consortium lacelock in a mint green hue. On the insole, a co-branded Offspring x adidas Consortium logo is present while the entire design of the model is completed by a cream midsole and grey rubber outsole.
The Offspring x adidas Consortium Oketro London Nights is set to release on January 28th, 2023 through Offspring online and in-store and via Offspring’s space inside of Selfridges London. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
