While many collegiate sports programs get exclusive sneakers from Jordan Brand or Nike (like the Jordan 14), the University of Oregon holds a special place in both brands’ hearts as The Swoosh’s history is deeply ingrained in the school. Just this year we’ve seen a special Air Max NFT launch tied to the school alongside another Air Jordan 8 with Ducks brand, though the latest PE sneaker is staying exclusive to student-athletes on the football team. Just after it was revealed the team would receive a PE colorway of the Nike Vapor DT Max ‘96 P Cleat, we’re getting first looks at the Tinker Hatfield-designed Oregon Ducks x Air Jordan 14 Retro PE.
Coming in classic AJ 14-form, the suede and nubuck upper gets dressed in Oregon Ducks-inspired colors and branding. Remaining on the sneaker are Jumpman logos along the suede toebox and back on the heel tab, seen in a vibrant green hue while the Oregon Ducks name is spelled out atop the tongue. Further Oregon branding is found along the Ferrari-inspired badge along the collar with the Ducks mascot replacing the Jumpman branding while back on the heel the Ducks “O” logo is placed below the Jordan branding. As for the rest of the sneaker, grey shades take over the perforated nubuck and tongue while volt green hues take over the laces. Rounding out the design are the dark green shades along the midsole that come paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Oregon Ducks x Air Jordan 14 Retro PE is limited to 275 pairs and will remain exclusive to the Oregon Ducks Football program. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest news, raffles, releases, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
