The union of streetwear giants and adventure trail brands is a testament to modern fashion's versatility and expansive reach. Palace, renowned for its iconic streetwear designs, and Salomon, a juggernaut in the adventure and trail footwear category, join forces again. Their first rendezvous in 2021 with the Salomon XT-6 set the sneaker community abuzz, and now they're back, serving up a fresh take on the Salomon XT-Wings 2.
Presenting two neutral palettes, "Black" and "White," this collaboration perfectly embodies the spirit of both brands. The OG design of the Salomon XT-Wings 2 is masterfully preserved, adorned with a mesh and TPU upper built to endure. The layering of varied shades accentuates the silhouette while branding intricacies weave the tales of both brands. Along the tongue, a multi-color nylon strip stands out, proudly bearing co-branded insignias of Salomon and Palace. The signature "S" emblem can be spotted on the tongue tag, and a touch of Palace's unmistakable triangle logo sits on the heel tab, popping out in a stark contrasting shade. The sneaker's base features a tonal midsole coupled with a marbled rubber outsole.
The Palace x Salomon XT-Wings 2 Pack will release September 1, 2023, exclusively via Palace online and in-store. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price has not been announced.
