Sports card collectors are well versed in limited edition cards from Panini while sneakerheads understand the significance of PE colorways for NBA players, though now, the two worlds are colliding. Panini has already dipped their toes into the sneaker world thanks to a collab with Reebok on Allen Iverson’s Question Mid, but, we’re now getting first looks at the F&F version of this link up. Limited to 100 pairs, the F&F Panini x Reebok Question Mid “Prizm” takes inspiration from AI’s blue and gold Question Mid PE.
Unlike the standard pair, metallic finishes take over the leather upper with the toebox getting covered in gold, and the rest of the upper taking on a blue hue. Branding details found on the midfoot, tongue, and heel also get a metallic gold makeover while the mesh and leather tongue comes in blue. Accenting shades of white are visible thanks to the two-tone white and blue set of laces and eyestays that host “Panini” text. A special nod to AI comes via the insoles split graphic, featuring two portraits of Iverson himself. On the lateral side, AI’s signature gets embroidered in black near the heel while the sneakers design is rounded out by a white Hexalite cushioned midsole and white rubber outsole.
The Panini x Reebok Question Mid Prizm F&F will, unfortunately, not see a public release. Instead, only 100 pairs will be produced and gifted to friends and family of both Reebok and Panini.
