A Black Chalk Colorway Of Pharrell Williams adidas Tennis Hu Emerges

For adidas, their struggles as of late with Ye and Beyonce departing from the brand may be spelling trouble for its financial success in 2023. A strategy change is in order, yet, we continue to see collaborations pumped out with Pharrell Williams whose products are not as popular as they once were. Now, adding to the list of upcoming Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu colorways on the horizon, a “Black Chalk” pair has appeared.
Like the recently seen “Grey Chalk” and “Chalk Royal,” this "Black Chalk" colorway features a one-piece Primeknit upper in a monochromatic color scheme. For this pair, an all-black look is applied to the upper, with tonal laces matching this dark shade. Along the tongue and heel sits a suede panel that features co-branded details between Pharrell Williams and adidas, the former of which gets its logos split between each sneaker. Underfoot, a chalk white EVA-cushioned midsole paired with a matching rubber outsole completes the look.
The Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu Black Chalk will be released in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
