Phil Mickelson Commissions Custom Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Low Golfs Ahead of The Masters

The Masters is only a day away, and everyone and anyone in the golf world is descending on Augusta, Georgia. While Nike has crafted its collection of footwear and apparel themed after the event, specifically hole 13 and its azalea-covered landscape, Phil Mickelson is looking to bring even more heat to the green. The famed golfer will be rocking a custom Off-White Air Jordan 1 Low Golf.
Custom made by Freemen Lewis of SNKR Supply 801, the pair seems to use the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf White Gum from 2024 as its base. Details across the upper have been redone by hand to mimic the design language of Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Air Jordan 1, giving it a DIY and reconstructed look. This includes the famous ghost stitching details where the normal Nike Swoosh resides, an enlarged logo attached by extra stitching details, and a suede panel along the collar and edge of the heel overlay.
Other Off-White details, like the Helvetica text and quotation marks, are found on the medial midfoot, laces, and sole unit, the latter hosting the iconic “AIR” text. Slight changes and additions are made to the typical design details, like the text on the medial midfoot reading “Off-White for PHIL” and the location being “Augusta, Georgia.” Phil’s three green jacket wins are commemorated through the Roman numeral three on the heel tab in green, and the years are stamped in gold on the inside of the sideways tongue tag.
Phil Mickelson will lace up these custom Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Low Golfs during The Masters, which takes place April 10-13.
