Amid the buzz around their upcoming All-Terrain Clog Collection, Levi's and Crocs have upped the ante by revealing a special collaboration with the talented Japanese artist Proleta Re Art. As sneakerheads eagerly await the sashiko denim-covered clogs, a limited-edition promotional collection serves as a tantalizing appetizer. This collaboration is a fusion of legacy, craftsmanship, and denim heritage, with a nod to the past and a look to the future.
Drawing inspiration and materials from a bygone era, these 60 pairs of Levi's x Crocs All-Terrain Clogs are crafted using White Oak deadstock denim. This cherished denim has been preserved at Levi's headquarters since the renowned USA selvage denim factory ceased operations. Each pair in this collection stands as a canvas where Proleta Re Art showcases a diverse range of colors and meticulously detailed patterns. These aren't just shoes; they're wearable pieces of art. The insoles proudly bear the Japanese Levi's tag, akin to the retail pair.
As revealed by Proleta Re Art, these are "promotional only” and will not be hitting retail shelves. Levi's and Proleta Re Art will however be holding a raffle at Levi's Soho Store (495 Broadway, NY, NY 10012) on September 19th, 2023, for some of the promotional pairs of the Crocs. It is free to enter, but sizing and style are not guaranteed.
