Originally released in 1997-98, the Reebok Answer 1 introduced DMX technology to the hardwood. It features air that travels between connected pods throughout the outsole resulting in exceptional cushioning with each stride. DMX technology was the perfect “Answer” to go along with the explosiveness of Allen Iverson’s game.
Last seen in 2018, the Reebok Answer 1 is returning in 2022 after a brief hiatus. Kicking things off will be the original white, red and gold colorway aka the “Rookie of the Year” edition. While no official images have surfaced yet, we can assume that this pair will keep things OG. The sneaker will sport a full white leather upper with black, red and gold accents throughout. A full translucent red outsole with gold flakes throughout and DMX cushioning finish things off.
The Reebok Answer 1 White Red is set to be released on July 29th, 2022. It will launch at Reebok as well as select retailers in-store and online.
