Allen Iverson’s OG Reebok Answer IV Returns In Black Grey

Nowadays Reebok isn’t the first brand that comes to mind when thinking of performance basketball dominance. That would belong to Nike and Jordan Brand, however, during the early 2000s Allen Iverson and his signature silhouettes were some of the hottest releases for hoopers and sneakerheads. In the last year or so we’ve seen Reebok bring back some of the most classic colorways to grace the Question and Answer series and 2023 will see the OG Reebok Answer IV return in the “Black Grey” colorway.

Taking on a leather and foam construction, the silhouette returns in its OG form and features a mixture of black and grey throughout the design with hints of red spotted throughout. Smooth leather wraps around the toe and runs along to the heel, wrapping around and meeting on the medial side of the upper while tumbled leather hits take over the collar and top portion of the tongue. A standard set of laces remains hidden below the tongue shroud that utilizes a zipper and lockdown strap to provide a “laceless” look, though its all-black look is broken up by a grey Reebok-branded logo up top. AI branding is visible in black/red along the lateral midfoot with the “I3” logo placed on the grey nubuck that appears to run up from the midsole. This same color and material choice land on the heel while the design comes rounded out by a two-tone grey and black midsole paired with a grey, black, and red outsole featuring AI’s portrait on the heel.

The Reebok Answer IV Black Grey is set to release on February 3rd, 2023 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
