The colorway of the Reebok Answer IV Iverson wore when he stepped over Ty Lue of the Lakers after a nasty crossover into a long two from the baseline was predominantly black with white accents. This upcoming release is a flipped version of the “Step Over” colorway, originally worn by AI during games four and five of the 2001 NBA Finals.
The simple white and black take on this Answer IV features a premium vibe throughout. Plush white leather runs around the sneaker, from the toe box through the mudguard, and into the heel. Large black panels of leather make up the quarter panel and the lace shroud. Accents of white throughout the sneaker add additional intrigue, particularly with the white zipper contrast to the black shroud and the white, glossy torsional plate that splits the black midsole and outsole of the heel from the white midsole and outsole of the forefoot.
