Reebok is planning to have another strong year in 2024. After naming Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson President and Vice President of Basketball, respectively, the buzz surrounding the brand is at an all-time high. With classics from both Hall Of Fame players' extensive footwear catalogs, the two continue to bring back other classic silhouettes from the 90s. Next up, in honor of its 30th Anniversary, the Reebok Preseason 94.
Initially released in 1994, the Reebok Preseason 94 was one of that year's most popular sneaker releases. Reebok athletes from various sports, including Emmitt Smith, Frank Thomas, and Muggsy Bogues, helped campaign for the silhouette. Kicking things off for its first-ever retro will be the Preseason 94 Black White alongside the Preseason 94 Low White Black Red.
Diving into the Reebok Preseason 94 (one of the first name-brand sneakers I got as a kid), it stays true to the OG with its leather and nubuck upper, comprised in black and white. The mid-foot strap screams the 90s while forming a Vector logo and providing a comfortable, locked-down fit. Preseason branding on the strap and back heel of the EVA midsole complete the look.
The Reebok Preason 94 Low comes in a classic white, black, and red colorway. This low-top iteration mimics the mid-top design sans the mid-foot strap. A traditional leather and nubuck combination in white and black covers the upper, highlighted by subtle hits of red to make the pair pop. Preseason labeling is seen on the tongue as well as the back heel of the midsole, which sits atop a solid rubber-lugged outsole.
The Reebok Preason 94 Pack will release on January 26, 2024, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, retail is set at $130 for the mid and $100 for the Low.
