Allen Iverson has left his mark on basketball and sneaker culture with his signature Reebok line, including the iconic Question and Answer series. Following his retirement, Iverson has continued to influence Reebok's direction, recently becoming the vice president of the brand's newly revamped basketball division alongside Shaquille O'Neal as its president. As an homage to the sneaker that started it all for Iverson and Reebok, the duo is bringing back one of the first colorways of the Reebok Question, the Red Toe, since its last retro in 2020. When the sneaker last returned, it came under the silhouette’s 25th Anniversary celebration. It featured details limited to the first 5,000 pairs of the Reebok Question: suede details on the toe and heel.
This upcoming release stays true to the colorway’s broader release in 1996, featuring a premium tumbled leather upper predominantly in white, accented by the distinctive pearlized red leather toe cap that defined the original Red Toe version. The sneaker's design is further complemented by Reebok branding in red across the midfoot, tongue, and eyestays, alongside a white and red rope lace set that adds a touch of elegance to the overall aesthetic. The heel showcases the Question logo embroidered in white, set against a vibrant red heel tab. The design is rounded off with a white midsole housing Hexalite cushioning pods in red beneath Iverson's "3" on the heel and an icy blue rubber outsole that ties the entire look together.
The Reebok Question Mid Red Toe will release on February 16, 2024, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on this release and more from the sneaker and streetwear realms.
