Reebok at one point was one of the leading performance basketball brands during the 90s and early 2000s with the likes of Dee Brown and Allen Iverson spotted on the court rocking pairs from the Boston-based company. Nowadays, however, we see the dominance of Nike in this category, though Reebok still releases retro versions of these older silhouettes geared more towards lifestyle wear than on-court action. Looking to combine Dee Brown’s Reebok Pump Omni and Allen Iverson’s Question Mid, the Reebok Question Pump is born.
Taking on the general shape of a standard Question Mid, the silhouette gets infused with details from the Pump Omni, like the TPU side cade and Pump system, while taking on a clean black, white, and orange color scheme. Black suede lands on the toebox while tumbled leather panels appear along the midfoot and along the collar with a perforated finish. Along the midfoot sits a two-tone white and orange TPU cage that holds portions of the laces in place and Reebok “The Pump” branding embroidered into the overlay nearby. Atop the tongue we get a Pump button split into a two-tone orange and white finish, borrowing the same color scheme found on the heel tab and its redesigned Question logo. Underfoot sits a Hexalite-cushioned midsole in white paired with a semi-translucent light gum rubber outsole.
The Reebok Question Pump Dee Brown is set to release on February 17th, 2023 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
