Reebok's The Blast "The Alamo" Nods to the San Antonio Spurs
PublishedReebok is stepping back into its archives, reigniting the spark of its 1996 Mobius collection with its The Blast silhouette. Previously launching the retro model in a version sported by Nick Van Exel, Reebok now channels the San Antonio Spurs colorful throwback logo with “The Alamo” colorway.
Reebok’s The Blast "The Alamo" boasts a hybrid construction blending nubuck, TPU, and mesh. Black and grey shades create a muted canvas to let the bright accents of the sole unit stand out. Splashes of pink and mint bring nostalgia for the Spurs' former color scheme through their appearance on the midsole and outsole. Keeping the spirit of the original '96 Mobius collection alive, the model showcases a flashy, asymmetrical design inspired by the contrast of positive and negative light. This results in a mismatched look across the two sneakers.
Reebok’s The Blast The Alamo is set to release July 7 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
