After dropping a 1460 Bex and 1461 Bex collaboration last summer, the California-based creative has now reconnected with Dr. Martens for a third time, this time for the Rick Owens x Dr. Martens 1460 and 1918 Boots.
The Rick Owens x Dr. Martens 1460 arrives in Owens' signature all-black aesthetic. Crafted from "Lunar" leather, extra wide "Pearl" laces tie everything together, while a chunkier rubber midsole adds more height to the boot. If you thought that was out-there, the Rick Owens x Dr. Martens 1918 will completely blow your mind. Offered in a hairy "Platinum" finish, the boot features a whopping 18 eyelets that run up the wearer's calf. Both pairs feature contrast yellow stitching for that signature DM look, while a grayscale effect has been applied to the heel pull tab for a monochromatic makeover.
Not for the faint of heart, the Rick Owens x Dr. Martens 1460 Lunar and Rick Owens x Dr. Martens 1918 Platinum will release on October 14th, 2022.
