Multiple Nike SB Dunk Lows came forth this year with Parisian ties, from the Trocadero Gardens to the Escargot and City of Love Pack. While these ties were made due to the Olympic Games being hosted in Paris, France, 2025 will continue this connection through a Nike SB collaboration with Riot Skateshops.
Taking inspiration from the city Riot Skateshops, located in Bordeaux, France, we see wine red hues contrast the deep green shades of the suede toebox, tongue, midfoot, and collar. Contrast stitching in a brighter red shade line the edge of the burgundy red mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. This contrasting red shade takes over the thick laces, sockliner, and heel tab, which splits Riot and Nike branding. Atop the tongue, the usual woven tongue label is replaced with a “wax” stamp featuring Riot Skateboard branding, mimicking the wax stamps used on wine bottles. We see a dark green shade utilized for the Swoosh on the midfoot, while the edge is trimmed with more red hues. Underfoot sits a cream midsole with red contrast stitching and a rubber outsole.
The Riot Skateshop x Nike SB Dunk Low will release in Spring 2025 through Riot Skateshop, Nike SB-affiliated retailers, and possibly via Nike SNKRS. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
