Originally opened in NYC in 2011, Kith has become a staple in the footwear and streetwear industries. Founded by Ronnie Fieg, 2021 marked the 10th Anniversary of Kith. Throughout the year we saw collaborations and partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the world, such as BMW, Coca-Cola, Nike, Asics and more. Another brand getting in on the action is New Balance.
New Balance and Ronnie Fieg are no strangers to one another. Having worked together various times throughout Kith’s history, the two partner back up in honor of the boutique’s ten year anniversary. For this collaboration Ronnie Fieg has chosen to work on the New Balance 990v3 silhouette. Nicknamed “Daytona,” this pair draws inspiration from Fieg’s New Balance 1600 originally released in 2013. Fieg’s New Balance 990v3 “Daytona” features the same tan, cream, pink and navy makeup. A “Made in the USA” edition, additional details include “RF” branding on the lace dubraes, “Kxth” 10th Anniversary branding on the back heel and custom printed dual branded insoles.
The Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 990v3 Daytona is set to be released in June 2022. It will launch exclusively at Kith in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes with a retail price to be announced. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
