While Jordan Brand has been spotlighting younger talents like Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, and Zion Williamson, Russell Westbrook still has a few more offerings for us. His latest model, the One Take 5, is a takedown version of his Why Not series, though we’re not set to receive a new model of the Why Not in 2024.
The Jordan One Take 5 is designed with performance in mind, mirroring Westbrook's dynamic and energetic playstyle. It features a low-top design closely following its predecessor's blueprint, the One Take 4. The sneaker is a blend of various materials, including mesh, leather, suede, and TPU, crafted to offer both durability and flexibility.
The design focuses on containment, ensuring a secure and supportive fit during intense gameplay. Westbrook's signature and Jordan logos are prominently placed throughout the sneaker. The attention to detail is evident in the extra stitching near the eyestay and collar, adding a touch of finesse to the overall design. Inside, the One Take 5 is equipped with a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and foam cushioning.
The Jordan One Take 5 was released on December 27, 2023, and is currently in stock via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizes, the retail price is set at $100 and $80, respectively.
