The Safari x New Balance 2002R 20th Anniversary boasts a sophisticated navy, grey, and silver palette blending suede, nubuck, leather, and Cordura mesh. The navy hue envelops the sneaker's defining suede overlays, creating a bold contrast against the dark grey mesh underlays. This look is further accentuated with silver reflective 3M accents, enhancing its visual appeal and functionality. While there is no explicit Safari branding, a subtle nod to Safari's 20th Anniversary is present through the tongue's dual "X" stitching. Completing the design is a white and blue foam midsole juxtaposed with a grey rubber outsole.
The Safari x New Balance 2002R 20th Anniversary is available now for pre-order via Safari, with shipping expected to take place in April 2024. A first-come-first-served release will take place on April 5 exclusively via Safari online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at ¥24,200 (around $160).
