Salehe Bembury has kept himself busy throughout 2024, expanding his collaborations with partners like Crocs and New Balance and adding new ones as he signed a deal with Puma over the summer. During this busy year, Bembury launched his first sneaker-esque design with Crocs, the Pollex Juniper, with the model being seen in many colorways. After launching the Tahini colorway and images of an Orange Purple pair appearing online, Bembury has teased a new color scheme, Sudd.
Mixtures of earthy tones take over the rubber, mesh, and TPU silhouette, though the most noticeable tone is the olive green found on the rubber portions. Light yellow, almost green shades are on the lace set, tongue, mesh collar, and nylon pull tab on the heel. A vibrant coral shade takes over the midfoot TPU reinforcement and comes slightly obscured by the smokey grey 3D fingerprint-inspired sole unit below. Bembury makes his presence known via the co-branded tongue tag and hang tag, inspired by the tag used to hang standard Crocs releases in stores.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Juniper Sudd will release in Holiday 2024 through Salehe’s Be A Spunge website and possibly via Crocs and select retailers online at a later date. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
