This release follows her 2023 work on the same silhouette, further cementing her creative legacy within the sneaker world.
The SWDC x Nike Air Max 1 Los Angeles is a testament to Williams's attention to detail and appreciation for the city's diverse culture. The sneaker features suede panels on the mudguard and vamp, adorned with intricate stitching that adds depth and texture to the muted tan backdrop. The base is crafted from tonal mesh, while leather on the midfoot complements the overall color scheme.
Light pink accents on the Swoosh and heel tab contrast softly, while metallic rose gold details on the lace dubrae and top eyelets add a touch of elegance. The tongue boasts Nike branding with an added "LA" script, and the heel showcases detailed linear embellishments. A satin sockliner and insole featuring pink Los Angeles text in cursive add a luxurious touch to the interior. The design is completed with a tan midsole and matching outsole, grounding the shoe in its inspiration.
The SWDC x Nike Air Max 1 Los Angeles W will release on February 22, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
