Korean streetwear brand Song For The Mute (SFTM) has been making waves in the fashion industry with its unique approach to streetwear, characterized by avant-garde designs and high-quality materials. Collaborating with adidas for the past two years, the duo has delivered a series of highly anticipated footwear capsules resonating with sneakerheads worldwide. At Paris Fashion Week, SFTM unveiled its latest project with adidas, a trio of minimalist yet stylish takes on the iconic adidas Superstar. This new collection continues the partnership’s tradition of blending contemporary design with classic sneaker silhouettes.
The SFTM x adidas Superstar Pack includes three distinct colorways: Brown, White, and Black. Each pair features the classic rubber shell toe, a hallmark of the Superstar, rendered in a tonal hue to match the upper. For the Black and Brown pairs, we see a suede finish applied to the majority of the sneaker with a washed effect applied.
SFTM introduces a subtle yet significant design tweak by extending the lace set with additional eyelets on the toebox area, enhancing the aesthetic and functionality. The midfoot's Three Stripes are presented in black on all three colorways, providing a stark contrast and highlighting the iconic branding. Further co-branding details include a cream-colored SFTM and adidas tongue tag and a lateral heel tag featuring SFTM branding. A tonal midsole and outsole combination complete the look, ensuring these Superstars remain versatile for any streetwear ensemble.
The SFTM x adidas Superstar Pack will release in 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
