Skechers’ Latest SKX Nexus Colorways are Available Now
PublishedWhat came as a shock to many sneakerheads and fans of performance basketball sneakers was Skechers vying for a spot in the marketplace. At first, the idea seemed farfetched, but their presence has been felt after signing top talent like Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, and Terence Mann and introducing multiple performance models. Even with a long road ahead of the brand to make headway in the market, Skechers continues to drop new colors of its models, including two new SKX Nexus renditions.
This new drop includes a vibrant Coral and a semi-familiar White Black Lime, primarily seen in neutral hues with pops of lime on select details. Starting with the Coral colorway, Skechers douses the knit and mesh base in varying tonal hues of coral, matching the fused TPU along the mudguard and eyestays. The titular shade continues up to the lace set and tongue, with accenting hits of purple on the nylon lace loops, sockliner, Skechers S logo on the lateral collar, and the heel tab.
On the White Black Lime colorway, we see the upper split in half, black appearing on the toe and tongue, while the collar area comes in a white knit. Dark shades continue to grace the fused TPU overlays, the sockliner, and the heel tab. All of this is contrasted by lime green pops on the nylon lace loops, Skechers logo along the tongue, and a portion of the foam midsole. Both pairs have a tonal foam midsole and a rubber outsole perfect for the basketball court.
The Skechers SKX Nexus Coral and White Black Lime released today, January 8, 2025, are available now through Skechers online. Offered in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
