UK grime artist Skepta signed with Puma in 2022 as a brand ambassador after jumping ship from Nike following the release of collaborative colorways of Air Max models. Two years later, the duo developed a new silhouette dubbed the Puma Forever, which has so far been launched in the OG colorway, a Dover Street Market exclusive, and a Beige Black Ice. However, during Skepta’s MAINS fashion show, the artist and select models on the runway were sporting a new mid-cut variant of the sneaker. While we got looks at the Grey colorway, a fall-ready Brown Black colorway has now appeared.
Brown suede details cover a large chunk of the model, starting at the toe and working back over the midfoot, collar, and tongue portions. Below this is a grey-silver mesh, seen in a circular-shaped panel on the midfoot, around the collar, the tongue, and the heel. Metallic eyestays, similar to those found on outdoor boots, help keep the black lace set in place, with the laces themselves resting just below the custom Puma Skepta logo. Final details on the upper include a black mudguard near the toe and perforated suede on the medial side. Down below, the chunky rubber tooling from the original Skepta x Puma Forever model remains, featuring chrome details on the heel, midfoot, and outsole.
Alongside the footwear, Puma and Skepta have crafted a series of apparel and accessories, including hats, jackets, bags, shirts, and more.
The Skepta x Puma Forever Mid Brown Black will release on November 2, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
