The Air Force 1's 40th birthday celebrations are officially coming to a close within the next few weeks, and before it's all over, Italian boutique Slam Jam is ending it all with a bang with the Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 Low Pack. Taking on two of the most iconic AF1 colorways ever made, including the "Triple Black" and the "Triple White," while this collection might look quite simple from the outset, upon closer inspection you'll find a ton of cool details throughout.
Arriving in "Black" and "White" palettes, Slam Jam's take on the AF1 is crafted predominantly from leather, bar the lateral and medial midfoot panels which are outfitted in mesh. A buttery suede Swoosh glides through the sides and heel badge, where you'll find reverse "Nike" in block capitals. The toebox perforations have been replaced with the Milan retailer's rebellious logo, while additional branding is stitched onto the tongue. This all sits on top of a tonal Air midsole for comfort and cushioning that has reigned supreme for four decades.
The Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 Low Black and Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 Low White are set to release during Holiday 2022, in men's sizes. Retail is set at $170, but these will drop at Slam Jam, Nike, and select online and in-store retailers within the coming months. The "White" pair is set to release first via reservation exclusively through Slam Jam. In-store reservations run from November 29th-December 3rd, and online goes from December 5th-8th.
