In a groundbreaking collaboration, the studio joined with Snow Peak, a Japanese brand renowned for its outdoor gear, to craft the Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium C_3. This modular snow boot epitomizes the fusion of outdoor utility and urban style, offering a versatile solution for wilderness adventures and city living.
The Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium C_3 is a marvel of design, featuring a two-part modular system. The internal portion is adorned with a snowy mountain graphic, embodying the spirit of adventure. This section is visually striking with its pull tabs and Japanese characters. It is practical and made from water-repellent PRIMALOFT for warmth and protection.
You can wear the inner boot independently for casual use. However, the external shell is indispensable for braving mountains or facing harsh weather. The eVent shell, known for its waterproof and breathable properties, provides an extra layer of protection. It is attached to a robust sole unit adapted from the New Balance 580, including the Rollbar technology, ensuring stability and comfort in various terrains.
The Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium C_3 will release on January 5, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Priced at $300, the boots will be available in men’s sizing.
