Reebok’s signature sneaker series with Allen Iverson was at one time one of the hottest silhouettes on the market. Everyone was looking to have the same attitude and swag that AI exuded on and off the court. Although he has been retired for nearly a decade, Reebok continues to give his signature models, mainly the Question Mid, various makeovers. Following the reveal of BSTN’s homage to AI’s high school on the model, fellow EU-based retailer SNS will dress the Question Mid in “Vachetta Tan.”
Unlike classic colorways of the Question Mid, SNS’s version of the model sees it elevated into more of a “high fashion” look as the entire upper is doused in a tonal Vachetta Tan shade. Leather overlays Mark the toecap, midfoot panels, and heel, while the tongue comes in its usual open-faced mesh finish. Tonal laces match the upper’s tan hue with the eyestays that host the laces featuring hits of “SNS” branding. Another hit of SNS’s logo is debossed on the left sneaker while the midfoot and right heel remains faithful to a standard Question Mid. Underfoot sits a sail Hexalite-cushioned midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The SNS x Reebok Question Mid Vachetta Tan will release through SNS in-store on May 13 and May 14 (minus SNS LA and SNS Tokyo) while the online raffle will end on May 15. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
