Emily Oberg's Sporty & Rich has again teamed up with adidas, bringing a fresh take on the classic SL 72 silhouette. This partnership, which started with the popular Samba model, has grown to include various adidas sneakers, continually pushing the boundaries of style and comfort. After Sweden-inspired colorways preview in March, Sporty & Rich has more iterations of the SL 72 on the way, including a Mint Rush Power Purple.
Oberg's latest adidas SL 72 boasts a premium blend of suede and nylon to construct the upper. The sneaker features minty hues across the suede toe, vamp, and heel overlay, with additional mint coloring on the nylon base. Adding a vibrant contrast, purple tumbled leather graces the Three Stripes and heel tab. Branding for Sporty & Rich is prominently displayed on the tongue and lateral heel, while a co-branded logo for both adidas and Sporty & Rich can be found on the insole. The design is completed with white laces, a cream collar lining, a midsole that combines purple and cream tones, and a cream outsole.
The Sporty & Rich x adidas SL 72 Teal Purple will release on November 26, 2024, through Sporty & Rich, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, retail is $120.
