Often given the honor of “your favorite rapper's favorite rapper,” the legendary rapper MF DOOM, who sadly passed away in 2020, will forever hold a place on hip-hop’s Mount Rushmore. Honoring the legend, Supreme has prepped a capsule of clothing that is set to hit shelves as part of Supreme's Fall/Winter 2023 Week 3 drop.
The capsule contains a hoodie, a t-shirt, and a beanie—each available in multiple colorways. The designs for the hoodie and t-shirt are identical, featuring MF DOOM's iconic mask, a take on Marvel's Doctor Doom, a machete, and the graffiti-style MF DOOM logo. The backside carries another layer of tribute, incorporating the same graffiti logo that first appeared on the cover of MF DOOM’s debut solo album, Operation: Doomsday. Below this, there's a heartfelt letter that takes inspiration from the notes found on the back of the album's original CD and vinyl. As for the beanie, it is adorned with a co-branded Supreme and MF DOOM logo, signaling the perfect fusion of streetwear and rap culture.
The Supreme x MF DOOM Collection will release September 7, 2023, through Supreme online and in-store. Prices will vary depending on the item.
