When Supreme and Nike come together, it's usually a special moment, whether that be on the iconic AJ 5 or on more obscure models like the SB Gato. This FW22, we saw the NYC-based streetwear icons bring back the classic SB Zoom Blazer Mid in two new colorways to major fanfare but the collaborations with The Swoosh are continuing to dig deeper into the past. Bringing us back to the late 90s, Supreme is set to tackle the often forgotten Nike Air Max TL in a variety of colorways.
With this first look, we get a glimpse at the all-white pair featuring grey accenting hits on the branding details. The classic construction from 1998 remains with the upper getting a variety of leather overlays that create circular panels of mesh and fused plastic. For laces, we’re given the choice of a tonal white or a two-tone Digi-camo grey and white set that pairs well with accenting mini Nike Swoosh and “Supreme” text spelled out in wavy form on the heel overlay. Special details are included like the red co-branded Nike and Supreme hang tag, though we’re still yet to get a full detailed look at any other hidden features the pair may have. Back on the heel, “TL” branding is placed on a sticker that sits in the middle of the “R” that helps spell out the NYC-based collaborators' name. Completing the design is the Air Max 97 midsole with a full-length visible Air unit in white paired with an all-white rubber outsole.
The Supreme x Nike Air Max TL White is rumored to release alongside a few other colorways either at the end of this Supreme FW22 season or at the beginning of the SS2023 season through Supreme and possibly nike.com. As of now, sizing and pricing is TBA. For updates on the latest from Supreme x Nike and more in the sneaker and streetwear world, keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app.
