A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 "Violet Ore"
James Whitner has been going all out with Jordan Brand collaborations this year. After reworking the Air Jordan 2 just a few months ago, the Atlanta-based creative now has his sights set on Michael Jordan's fourth signature silhouette with the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 "Violet Ore," and it's arguably the best of the bunch. Outfitted in a dark purple suede, premium details feature throughout that set this AJ 4 apart from the rest. From the stud detailing around the heel to the quilted sockliner within, these all come packed in a special edition shoebox that makes this a must-own this Holiday season.
Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 "Powder Pink"
As part of his Performance Art collection, Chicago's very own Joe Freshgoods released the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 "Powder Pink," and it's no doubt one of 2022's most hyped NB collaborations. Working on top of a clean mesh base, pastel pink suede wraps around the rest of the upper for an extra luxurious look and feel. What makes this 993 even better though, is the creamy ABZORB DTS midsole underfoot and "JFG" branding around the back. Whether you're looking to treat yourself or a loved one over the Holidays, this is a solid addition to any sneakerhead's daily rotation.
Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Grinch"
It doesn't get any more festive than the Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Grinch." Made in partnership with the late and great Kobe Bryant, this beloved colorway initially released in 2010 as part of Nike's Basketball Christmas Day Collection. Painted in a vibrant green and red combination that mimics the infamous Dr. Seuss character, it's infused with a Zoom Air midsole underfoot for unrivaled comfort and cushioning both on the streets and on the court. The upper has also been detailed with a contemporary snakeskin-like effect, nodding back to Bryant's Black Mamba moniker that he'll forever be known by.
Air Jordan 1 High OG "Chicago Lost and Found"
Without a shadow of a doubt, the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Chicago Lost and Found" is one of 2023's most hyped sneaker releases, and if you're planning on treating yourself this Holiday season then this is the way to do it. Inspired by the very first Air Jordan 1 colorway that made its hardcourt debut back in 1985, the "Lost & Found" features the exact same colorblocking. With that said, the leather has been slightly pre-aged and pre-distressed for a very vintage vibe, and this old school effect extends towards the shoebox as well. While the "Chicago" has re-released multiple times in the past few years, this has got to be the best retro yet.
JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 "Silver"
One of the most understated collaborations of the year, the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 "Silver" also happens to be one of the most hyped as well. Teaming up with Justin Saunders for the very first time, the sneaker is crafted from metallic "Silver" leather throughout with black Tiger Stripes across the sidewalls for that classic look that we all know and love. This all sits on top of a chunky GEL midsole that's as comfortable as it gets, and is rounded off with JJJJound branding around the heel.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Reverse Mocha"
If you search for "perfection" in the dictionary you'll find a photo of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Reverse Mocha." Regarded by many sneakerheads to be La Flame's best sneaker ever, while this might sound like a pretty bold statement we're not that surprised by it. Working on top of a brown suede base, crisp white leather panels wrap around the upper for a beautifully contrasted look. Fiery red branding is finely embroidered along the tongue tag and heel, and of course, you can't talk about these Jordans without mentioning the reverse Swoosh that shoots through the lateral sidewalls. A signature detail from the Texas-born rapper, these are a must-have.
Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 550 "Green"
Searching for a clean, no-nonsense sneaker to add to your collection but still want something a little hyped? Then look no further than the Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 550 "Green." One of Teddy Santis' finest, the white and green color scheme will work with absolutely any fit you throw on this season, never mind the fact that it's giving us some very subtle festive vibes. Crafted from smooth leather, the iconic "N" logo has been finished off with a unique texture for an even more striking look and feel. ALD has also switched the usual basketball graphic on the tongue to an apple as a nod to its New York City roots.
Nike Dunk Low "Panda"
Whether you love to hate it or hate to love it, there's no denying the fact that the Nike Dunk Low "Panda" has become something of a cultural phenomenon. Initially released as part of Nike's Spring 2021 collection, it very quickly became one of the Beaverton-based brand's most popular sneakers. And honestly, there's no questioning why. Working on top of the '80s basketball silhouette, the slick black and white palette just works with absolutely any fit while still maintaining that retro aesthetic that we all know and love. Even though the "Panda" has restocked multiple times over the past few months, if you're still getting nothing but Ls it's time to bite the bullet and just grab a pair now.
Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low "Blue Tint"
Bad Bunny's latest adidas collab is arguably his best one yet. After releasing exclusively in Puerto Rico earlier this, the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low "Blue Tint" is now available for everyone. Boasting a luxurious material construction that combines leather and suede, the blue-hued beauty is finished with a rollercoaster buckle and plenty of details that nod to the internationally-renowned artist's roots. All of this sits on top of a "Clear Blue" midsole that's as clean as it gets.
Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog "Sasquatch"
While Salehe Bembury has teamed up with countless sneaker brands over the past few years, his partnership with Crocs seems to be the one that's making the most headlines. Spotted here in a mythical Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog "Sasquatch" color scheme, it's crafted from the Colorado brand's signature Croslite foam and features a series of intricate curves and grooves that fall in line with the New York City fashion icon's fingerprint-inspired aesthetic. This also comes with a reworked heel strap, so sport mode is going to hit a little different this Holiday season.
